Currently based in San Diego, Karis Ashton serves as the Marketing Manager for multiple Northwood Retail properties, supporting the teams of The Forum Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA), Domain NORTHSIDE (Austin, TX), and Promenade at Downey (Downey, CA).
Karis started her career in property management as the Marketing Coordinator for Washington Prime Group’s Scottsdale Quarter (formerly Glimcher Realty Trust) in Arizona. With her foundation set within in the mixed-used, outdoor shopping center niche, she joined the marketing team at Domain NORTHSIDE in 2021. Since her start, Karis has had the pleasure of working with noteworthy national brands such as Amazon, Apple, and Nordstrom, as well as introducing first-to-market brands such as Anine Bing, Rails, SKIMS, and Vuori.
Originally from Arizona, Ms. Ashton graduated from the University of Arizona with a BA in Retail and Consumer Sciences and has minors in Marketing and Fashion.
