The Shops at Park Lane Gains American Girl, Daiso, Blue Maki and Banh Shop As New Tenants

The Shops at Park Lane in Dallas will gain Blue Maki, Daiso, Banh Shop and American Girl as new tenants in store openings slated for late 2023 and early 2024.

“We feel like these new concepts are game changers for The Shops at Park Lane, rounding out our food and retail options and helping us achieve our goal of enhancing the tenant mix for our shoppers, residents and office workers,” Ward Kampf, president of Northwood Retail, said in a prepared statement.

Slated to open later this year, Blue Maki’s new location at the shopping center will be its second Dallas location. The sushi concept will occupy 1,628 square feet of space.

Japanese dollar store Daiso will open its next location later this year, securing space across 8,868 square feet. Daiso recently opened a location at the Mockingbird Commons shopping center
in Dallas.

Banh Shop, an Asian street food concept, will open in the shopping center in early 2024.The concept will occupy 1,953 square feet of space. Banh Shop will offer a mix of items ranging from hand-held to shareable bites. The food concept will also have a bar and a selection of non-alcoholic drinks.

American Girl will relocate its flagship store from its current high-profile address in Galleria Dallas to a two-story space at The Shops at Park Lane. The new store will feature a full-service restaurant, shopping, and both doll and girl beauty services. The current location at the Galleria Dallas is scheduled to remain in operation while the new store is under construction, with an opening date expected in early 2024.

“American Girl is iconic and the new flagship store is a perfect fit for Park Lane’s demographics,” Kampf said. “Daiso is expanding in Texas with its unique, affordable Japanese goods, and we’re pleased the brand is planting a flag at our center. Banh Shop, with its Asian street food, and Blue Maki, with its handroll sushi, are broadening our dining selections.”
