The Lakewood shopping center also recently welcomed California-based veterinary clinic Modern Animal to its footprint at the corner of Mockingbird Lane and Abrams Road.
“We’re excited to bring the quality of an LVMH concept with Sephora, along with these other leading additions, to what we feel is an underserved market,” Ward Kampf, president of Northwood Retail, said in a prepared statement.
“Sephora is a top five brand in the U.S.; Modern Animal is the future of veterinary care, and JuiceLand is one of the great Texas homegrown brands – it’s unique, authentic, and best-in-class. We’re grateful to attract these types of tenants and feel these new locations speak to the power of the Lakewood community,” Kampf added.
Sephora is expected to open in 2024.
Austin-based JuiceLand is expected to open later this year and will provide raw, cold-pressed juices and superfood smoothies from fruits, vegetables and other ingredients. The new location will be positioned next to Haven and Vie Nails.
“Growing up, my favorite aunt lived in East Dallas, and I always felt the charm in her neighborhood,” Matt Shook, CEO and founder of JuiceLand, said in a prepared statement. “Opening this Mockingbird and Abrams location at Hillside Village feels like a homecoming for me and I can’t wait to see who I run into at this new store.”
Hillside Village has been on a roll, assembling a fresh tenant lineup up on the well-traveled corner that includes a Sprouts location. The shopping center’s Tuesday Morning location recently closed and has become a Spirit Halloween location. It is unclear of what the long-term plan is for the space.
