Larry Ivich entered the Shopping Center field with the Ernest W. Hahn/Trizec Development Company in 1979, and went on during his tenure there to serve as General Manager at several Super Regional Retail Projects in the San Francisco Bay Area and greater Los Angeles markets. He earned his CSM designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers in 1983. In 1985, Larry accepted a position with Bohannon Development Company as General Manager of Hillsdale Shopping Center. He later became Vice President at Bohannon, where he served as Vice President and General Manager at Hillsdale Shopping Center until December of 2021, when Northwood Retail acquired the project. At that time, Larry joined Northwood Retail as Senior Vice President and General Manager at Hillsdale.
During Larry’s tenure at Hillsdale he served on the Board of Directors of several community based organizations. He is past President of the Rotary Club of San Mateo. Larry is also past President of Rotary Haciendas, developers and managers of senior housing in the City of San Mateo; past Board Member of The Lesley Foundation, developers and managers of senior housing in San Mateo County; past Chairman of the Better Business Bureau of San Mateo County; and past Board Member of the San Mateo County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the San Mateo Area Chamber of Commerce.
Larry received his Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in Retail Management from Columbia College in 1979.
