The Fall Art & Wine Walk returns this weekend to The Forum Carlsbad.
The free event will feature art installations, live music and wine tastings at the outdoor shopping center.
“The Fall Art & Wine Walk is a beautiful way to bring people together around art, music and wine while supporting a meaningful cause,” said Trish Pruitt, vice president of marketing for Northwood Retail, which manages the shopping center. “We’re proud to celebrate the creativity of our local artists and the generosity of our community.”
Attendees are encouraged to stroll through The Forum Carlsbad to discover unique artwork from local and visiting artists, thoughtfully displayed in participating shops, restaurants and pop-up locations throughout the center.
Several retailers will host in-store art displays and activities for all ages. Participating locations include Geppetto’s, Madewell, McConnell’s, Pressed, Rylee + Cru, SusieCakes, The Henry, Tilly’s, Warby Parker, YETI and YogaSix.
In addition to participating retail locations, artists will be featured in common areas throughout the center, offering a diverse mix of styles and mediums, from ceramics and glass to painting and live performance.
The event will also have a wine garden, located near YETI, that will offer a complimentary tasting experience presented by Jimbo’s. The 21-and-older wine garden will feature a variety of wines served alongside savory bites from Mirabelle Charcuterie and a seasonal sweet treat from Jimbo’s, all set to the live acoustic sounds of musician Shea Givens.
Donations will be accepted at the wine garden in support of Shelter to Soldier, a nonprofit organization that adopts dogs from local shelters and trains them to become psychiatric service dogs for veterans. The organization also places emotional support animals with active-duty military and veterans.
The Fall Art & Wine Walk will take place from 3-6 p.m. Saturday at The Forum Carlsbad located at 1923 Calle Barcelona in Carlsbad.
