The new Shops at Park Lane two-level store is one of only nine American Girl stores in the U.S. and the only one in Texas.

American Girl opens March 2 at its new Dallas location at the Shops at Park Lane. The new 14,720-square-foot, two-level store includes a café, expanded salon service, several party options and a floor-to-ceiling dollhouse.

The premium brand for girls, owned by Mattel, first opened in Dallas in 2007 at the Galleria and will close on Feb. 20. It’s one of only nine American Girl stores in the U.S. and the only one in Texas.

Dallas is getting the “newly imagined experiential” version of the store, said Jamie Cygielman, senior vice president of American Girl.
