Five Daughters Bakery Opens in Downtown Nashville
Nashville-based Five Daughters Bakery will bring its 100-layer donuts to Fifth + Broadway this fall, according to a news release. Founded in 2015 by Nashville natives and husband-and-wife team Isaac and Stephanie Meek, the downtown expansion marks the bakery’s seventh location.

“As born-and-raised Nashville natives, we are beyond honored to have a place in the heart of Broadway that is so committed to excellence and fun while still honoring the spirit of our great city,” said Isaac and Stephanie Meek in the release. Five Daughters, named for the Meeks’ daughters, will be on the second floor of Fifth + Broadway above Ariat.

“We’re big on founder businesses and think local tenants create a unique character at our centers. We’re excited to add Five Daughters to our lineup, and we’re grateful that this special and
growing concept has chosen Fifth + Broadway for its next expansion,” said Ward Kampf, president of Northwood Retail, the real estate investment and management arm of Fifth + Broadway owners Northwood Investors.

New Rooftop Bar Opens at Holston House Hotel
Nashville’s boutique hotel Holston House opened its rebranded rooftop bar on May 13, according to a news release. Heirloom will have a Southern tapas-focused menu by executive chef Shannon Williams, with cocktails and mocktails. The menu include pecan pimento cheese, stuffed dates, smoked and chicken flatbread.

“We are thrilled to unveil Heirloom, a rooftop bar where each dish and drink is crafted with care and creativity,” said Williams in the release. “Fusing rich Southern flavors with the trends of today, we strategically curated a menu that celebrates the best of the South, highlighting locally sourced, seasonal ingredients elevated to new heights.”

Heirloom’s hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week. Located at 118 Seventh Ave. N., the 191-room hotel building used to be the 1920s James Robertson hotel and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

Edley’s Bar-B-Que opens in Berry Farms
Edley’s Bar-B-Que opens doors to its first Williamson County location on May 15, according to a news release. Located in the Berry Farms development at 501 Sallie Lane, Edley’s features a drive-thru, 120 seats indoors and an outdoor patio with 60 seats.

“Establishing Edley’s in Williamson County has been a dream of ours since the beginning, and we’re so excited to have found a home at Berry Farms,” said founder Will Newman in a release. “It’s the perfect spot to start building relationships with our neighbors south of Nashville. We look forward to welcoming customers into our dining room, on our patio and at our first drive-thru.”

Local companies Powell Construction, GoodWood and Fox Hardwood Lumber helped with build-out of the location.

Edley’s was founded in 2011 and has six locations.

Neighbors Opens Gulch Location
A local favorite sports bar and restaurant is opening a location in the Gulch.

Last home to City Fire, Neighbors Nashville will open a Gulch location at 610 12th Ave. S., according a sign permit filed with Metro. The Business Journal previously reported that a sports bar and restaurant with the name Neighbors Bar was opening in the first floor of the Icon condo building, via a $250,000 permit.

Neighbors, founded by husband-and-wife Zach and Victoria Pillar, has locations in Sylvan Park, Germantown and Franklin. It is not clear when the Gulch location will open.
